us.
Our purpose at Crosswalk is to strengthen the members of the body of Christ into a growing, maturing, intimate relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ, teaching them to deny themselves in order to take up the cross each day to follow him. We recognize that God sent his only son, who He loved deeply, into the world to show us love and demonstrate the ultimate gift of love–giving his life. He who had no sin took our sin to the cross so that we could come before the Father and have eternal life in him.
At Crosswalk we want you to constantly be reminded of this amazing gift, this awesome love that comes from our Holy Father. We want to see you living your life for him and sharing this good news and unconditional love with others on your campus and in our city, so that He may be glorified and his kingdom will grow and reach all the earth.
What we do:
Thursday nights at 7:00 in 120 Medical Sciences on Wright State’s campus, Crosswalk meets for a large group worship service. Students come from several campuses in the Dayton area such as Sinclair, University of Dayton, Cedarville, Wright State, and Clark State, to name a few. A guest speaker brings the message each week, a band plays praise and worship music, and other stuff happens too! After Crosswalk is over, we gather for an Extra Mile at various different places, so that we can fellowship and get to know one another. Throughout the week, there are several opportunities to get plugged into small Bible study groups for in-depth Bible studies. As an outreach opportunity, we go to the Edgewood Center in Dayton on Wednesdays to tutor kids of the city schools. Mission trips are offered over winter, spring, and summer breaks.
