Types of Collegiate Ministry

Traditional Collegiate Ministries

This style is what most people are familiar with; taking the form of a student group that meets for bible study and sometimes worship.  The larger groups may have a weekly worship meeting, others may just have bible studies promoting connection to God and each other.

Collegiate Church Plants

These ministries do everything that a regular church does, except for the organ music.  They have no building of their own, and is constituted of mostly college students.

Church/Campus Ministries

These ministries are local church run groups on college campuses; not a church in itself but an extention of the church.  They can meet on campus or at the church.
